B.A. Political Science, Chulalongkorn University (First-Class Honours)
Master of War Studies, King’s College London (Merit)
My first thought to undertake Ph.D. study in Criminology actually crossed my mind when I apprenticed with the Permanent Secretary for Justice (Professor Wisit Wisitsora-at). Playing a part of criminal justice system in achieving equality and reducing inequality is the ultimate goal in serving civil service. Although I am just a tiny piece of a complicated mechanism, my determination remains strong. The decision to study Ph.D. in Criminology and Justice Administration is considered as the starting point to pursue such dream. I chose Chulalongkorn University, not only because of the fact that it is the best academic institution, but also the feeling of being in a family as I am always immensely warm with a friendly environment every time I am here. The professors and lecturers at Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Faculty of Political Science have been so kind and dedicated to us in the best hope that all students’ aims will be finally fulfilled. Being back here again this time, I firmly believe that my intention to ensure equality for all Thai people will keep pushing me to follow the path of Thai Criminology.
